InspireInk Blog Hop- Fancy Fold Card

InspireInk Blog Hop- Fancy Fold Card

InspireINK HeaderHi and welcome to the second blog hop of 2018. This month’s theme was picked by the lovely Helzie Lou and she picked ‘fancy fold’. You have probably seen that I have been making quite a few twist and fold pop up cards so I wanted to make something a bit different this time.

I don’t know what this particular style of fold is called but I have seen a lot of people placing tea light candles in the middle, the plastic ones, not the real ones! So I guess like a ‘lantern style’ type of card. I used the Coffee Café photopolymer bundle and the Sure do Love You stamp set as the main focus of this card. I haven’t used the Coffee Café bundle in a while so thought I’d bring it out for this project.

As I was in the mood for making fancy fold cards I decided to make a ‘bench fold’ style card. I have made this style card in the past. I remember it was for my dad’s birthday last year so it was a very ‘masculine’ card.

This time I decided to use the gorgeous Petal Palette bundle. I wasn’t to keen on this bundle in the beginning but I saw all the lovely projects that were being made with this set and well, I just had to get it! It’ s such a lovely set and I know I will be using it quiet a lot in the near future.

This time I kept the card simple by making it monochrome but adding a bit of colour to it; I chose Bermuda Bay.

I hope you have enjoyed these two projects today, if you click on the next button below, you will see a project by the lovely Sam Roberts who is also part of this hop.

Happy hoping! 🙂

    1. Thank you Jerim’ it’s really simple to make. Doesn’t need many supplies either. Just depending on how you want to decorate it. You can make it look as complicated or as simple as you like 🙂 hope you give it a go xx
