Hi everyone,
This month’s theme was chosen by the lovely Lisa Emslie. It’s a colour challenge, I haven’t taken part in a colour challenge before so this was very interesting. She chose 3 lovely colours, Bermuda Bay, Merry Merlot and Daffodil delight. Unfortunately I don’t have Merry Merlot in my stash yet and when the theme was chosen, I had just placed an order so was a bit bummed. I really wanted to take part so the lovely ladies allowed me to either substitute this for another colour or just use the other 2 colours. The closest colour to Merry Merlot is Berry Burst, which would have been great to use until I noticed I didn’t have any Berry Burst card stock! Eeek!! Note to self, add Berry Burst card stock and Merry Merlot to my next order.

In the end, I used Bermuda Bay and Daffodil Delight for this project. I decided to use the Varied Vases stamp and punch set. Since I got this set, I haven’t made many projects with it and I don’t know why. It’s gorgeous and creates really beautiful cards.

I decided to make 2 cards in each of the different colours. I recently purchased some acetate boxes so decided to put the cards in them. I gifted one of them to a friend whose birthday was last week. They make really pretty gifts and they’re quick and simple to put together too.
I hope you’ve enjoyed this project, I’ve had a lot of fun making these cards. Click on the next button to see all the other lovely projects and as always, happy hoping!
